Sonora Gold & Silver Corp. (the "Company" or "Sonora") has made a formal appeal to the Minister of Mines and Energy of the United Republic of Tanzania (the Minister) to intervene with the Order from the Commissioner of Mines dated October 28th requesting the vendor to return the ML 413/2010 for cancellation of the Mining Licence and reinstatement of the PML . Sonora believes that the ML was validly issued and is valid and in full force under the Tanzanian Mining Act. It also has received legal advice from its legal advisors in Tanzania confirming that Sonora has a valid and enforceable option agreement to purchase the ML under Tanzanian law and it plans to vigorously defend its rights to the ML to the fullest extent of the law including a judicial process if necessary.
