Ken Churchill
Following a highly successful 35 year career in the supermarket industry as a corporate manager and owner of several large supermarkets, Mr. Churchill brings to Sonora strong business acumen, gleaned from exposure to diverse business development issues. Mr. Churchill's ability to implement solutions leading to profitability and increased market penetration came from experience in managing businesses ranging in revenue from $10 to 50 million per year and employing anywhere from 60 to 300 employees. Mr. Churchill has been involved in negotiating large scale labour contracts with unions as a result of his management roles. Mr. Churchill's education includes business administration, accounting and financial budgeting. Mr. Churchill was a member of the Chamber of Commerce for over eight years and also served as an economic development Commissioner for two years in the Caribou region.
Paul Matysek
Mr. Matysek is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Potash One Inc. where he is leading the company to feasibility stage on its Legacy Project in Saskatchewan. He was a founder and CEO of Energy Metals Corporation, which he helped grow from a market capitalization of $10 million to acquisition by a larger uranium producer for $1.8 billion. Since 1999, he has been involved in obtaining over $200 million of exploration and development financing for a number of significant precious metal and base-metal properties. Mr. Matysek is a geologist/geochemist and has served in an Executive or Director capacity, for several exploration and development companies including: First Quantum Minerals Ltd., First Majestic Resource Corp., Energy Metals Corp. and Lithium One Inc. He brings to the company a wealth of technical and financial experience as well as over 35 years of exploration and development experience.
Joseph Guiffre
Mr. Giuffre is a partner at the law firm Axium Law Corporation. He has over twenty-five years of combined experience in business and legal matters, and has a transaction-based practice in the areas of corporate finance, securities, mining, corporate structuring, project finance, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Giuffre has extensive experience acting for Canadian public companies with an international focus, many of which have progressed from private start-up companies to publicly-listed emerging companies trading on the TSX Venture Exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange or NASDAQ. He has served as a director and corporate secretary of a number of private and public companies and is currently a director of Nevada Copper Corp.
Guilio Bonifacio
Mr. Bonifacio has over 26 years in senior executive positions in the mining industry. Mr. Bonifacio is the founder, President & CEO of Nevada Copper Corp. and has a successful track record of raising equity and project capital for development projects of merit. Mr. Bonifacio is a professional accountant with extensive experience and knowledge in areas of corporate finance, securities matters, project finance and mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Bonifacio has held senior executive roles with Getty Resources Limited, TOTAL S.A. and Vengold Inc.
Michael Resendes
Mr. Resendes is an accountant and has over 10 years of experience primarily in the automotive finance industry as a controller and assistant manager. Mr. Resendes educational background includes finance, securities and taxation.
