Corporate Update

Vancouver, British Columbia November 25th 2011,  – Sonora Gold & Silver Corp. (the “Company” or “Sonora”) wishes to provide an update on the appeal filed on March 29, 2011 with the High Court of Tanzania, regarding the cancellation of Mining License 413 – 2010 (the “ML”),  located in the Handeni District, Tanzania (the “Property”) and held by the Optionor of the ML, Dr. Abdullah Omar Kigota. The Company entered into an option to acquire the property from the Optionor on October 6, 2010.

On November 24, 2011, the High Court of Tanzania fixed a hearing date for March 27, 2012 on which day the Civil Appeal  No. 35 of 2011, Sonora Gold & Silver Corp. versus the Minister for Energy and Minerals will be heard.
